I went home. :)

This last Saturday I paid a much needed visit to my home away from home! I realize it is pretty much the only thing I EVER talk about, but you know, that was did so much for me and you would love and miss it, too. In the picture (and yes, I know it's dark. It was a fast picture and one of the cadets took it so I didn't really expect it to be too awesome anyway.) standing next to me is one of my most favorite Cadre, SSG McNeal. He is the most quotable Cadre, and one of the only people in the world that I can look up to and follow in his foot steps. Him and MSG Burt are my two favorites.

I didn't have much time (as I was there for my friend Jess's open house visit to the academy) so this is the only picture I got with anybody.

SSG McNeal made me stay and talk to the female cadets, 3rd PLT Eagles, and let them ask me questions. They are in their 17th week and don't have much time left in the program. They asked me a lot of awesome questions, and it make me realize just how lucky I am to have graduated when I did. I was so close to quitting at one point, and also really close to being kicked out at another point. If it weren't for the awesome Cadre, I wouldn't have gotten very far. The Class of 2013-1 Eagles made me so thankful, and I can't wait to visit again. Hopefully before their graduation in June so I can talk to them all just one more time.

I miss that place like crazy.
