Left Hand
Writing with my left hand,
is hard as you can see.
My mommy said she didn't like it,
so she won't talk to me.
I gave her candy and some roses,
a puppy and a hat.
I polished her big toes,
and she still says I'm a brat!
I think my mom is lying,
just to get the gifts.
Now I use my right hand,
'cause my other one is stiff.
She says she loves me anyway,
no matter which hand I use.
How could you not love this face,
with such pretty baby blues?

I wrote this song when I was seven years old.
Once I wrote it, I sent it in to this contest, and now it's in a book!
I typed it the exact same way that I wrote it. But the thing is, when I actually wrote this out, I wrote it with my left hand, so it was very sloppy.
I was such a cool kid.
If you know me personally, then you would probably know that the actual poem is on the wall in my kitchen.
Once I wrote it, I sent it in to this contest, and now it's in a book!
