Literature Text

I never thought I'd see the day,
that you'd come out to me and say,
"I love you, baby, everyday."

Then I'd grin from ear to ear,
I would say this and make it clear,
"I would never shed a tear,
for someone here for me year-to-year."

And when I wonder where you're at,
I look at the chair where once you sat,
laid your feet upon the mat,
and bowed your head to remove your hat.

When we met,
you made me sweat,
worry and fret,
and now I am forever in your debt.

I would wake up every hour,
every night climb a tower,
dream of money and power,
and you would handsomely hand me a beautiful flower.

Forever and always I will care,
about the moments we will share.
Across the room people will glare,
and I will notice every stare.
This poem is such a fail. I just felt like rhyming, so I started rhyming random things together and I got this.

If you like it, well then that's amazing.
